Rhode & Cuthbert – The Shooting Star She Saw

“The title of this latest from the modular masters of Slashsound says it all for this perfect blend of burnished tones and cautiously optimistic vibes. And what better way to start the new year?” – An Earful, Of Note in 2020: Electronic

Greet the World Every Morning with Curiosity and Hope is a collaborative album and isolation-depression-mitigation effort, made via remotely sharing drafts between coproducers, editing to completion in a new pandemic-accessible studio process and is rolling out as monthly new release until the album's completion, while channeling the flavor text of collectible card games, vintage anime, and midwestern icescapes to soothe our collective existential dread.

The second single, The Shooting Star She Saw is named from the first episode of the iconic 90's anime Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, which depicts the gundams disguising themselves as shooting stars during their Earth infiltration.
